AE25225 Introduction to CFD “Introduction to CFD” is a 3rd/4th year undergraduate course giving a brief introduction to Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). The focus is on the simulation of compressible flows in aerodynamics. We'll see how to recast the fluid equations in generalized curvilinear coordinates, how to measure numerical error using Richardson extrapolation, and how to craft some high resolution and high order flux discretization schemes. Some of the assignments will involve using the CFDWARP code to obtain results.
